James Barker

James joined Scientex in 2008 after a successful career with Varian, where he held various technical and marketing roles. With qualifications in chemistry and biochemistry, James is well versed with the spectrum of products represented by Scientex and is committed to providing effective solutions for existing and potential customers. He has successfully placed analytical systems and testing equipment with private and public sector clients across the length and breadth of Australia.

As General Manager  James has played a pivotal role in growing Scientex’s business. Outside of work, James and his wife have three young children and enjoy the activities that are associated with a growing family. James also makes time to attend his local sporting clubs.
